The kids had an amazing time exploring the gardens and picking apples. We enjoyed the lovely spa where my husband received complimentary access since it was his birthday. The spacious rooms were well-equipped for our large family.
My children wanted an indoor play area for rainy days.

I stayed in a Superior Double Room, and the space was beautifully decorated with a cozy atmosphere. The claw foot bath added a touch of luxury that I really appreciated. Staff offered a warm welcome and were incredibly friendly throughout my stay. Breakfast featured a delightful variety of options to choose from, making it enjoyable. Unfortunately, the teapot in my room was hard to access due to the wardrobe design, which was a minor inconvenience. I didn’t manage to try the spa facilities, which was a bit disappointing. Although I enjoyed the stay, I felt that minor updates could enhance the overall experience.

The spa facilities offer a rather intimate setting, perfect if you prefer a quieter ambiance, even though it can get busy. A private entrance from the room to a hot tub adds a nice touch for relaxation after the day's activities.
Several bathrooms were out of order, and the overall decor feels like a mix of old and new styles that may not suit everyone’s taste. Our room suffered from a small leak, which left an unwelcome stain near the pillow—a detail that didn't sit right. The dining options felt limited, with single choice meals, and I was surprised to find a lack of basic amenities like a phone in the room, rendering the no signal situation even more inconvenient.

pleasant stay but not without flaws
The private outdoor patio added a lovely touch to our evening, allowing us to unwind outdoors. The variety of beverages at the bar truly impressed us, making our nights enjoyable.
The overall experience felt a bit overshadowed by minor maintenance issues in the room.

This place has a really welcoming and comfy feel, which is just what we needed for our getaway. The garden room was super cozy and the fresh ground coffee was a nice touch—way better than those awful sachets! The only hiccup was a bit of a wait for our breakfast in bed. Still loved it!
